One Response to “Cardinal Newman stories, 15 July 2008”
Several years ago I watched a TV program conducted by Friar Benedict Groeschler. On that TV show he quoted Cardinal Newman depicting the qualities of a “man of God”. On that occasion I could just grasp a phrase where Cardinal Newman says: “a man of God is unconscious of his endowments, …” He went on and on describing what he considered were the principal qualities of a “man of God”. I would love to have the whole description for my own personal enlightenment and to share it with my students. I just need to get in touch with a scholar on Cardinal Newman writings who can track that piece of information and forward it to me.
Thank you very much for your kind assistance.

Dear Sir:
