Each month I convert the appropriate profiles for the coming month to e-books for use on PDAs, Pocket PCs, smart phones, etc., with a segment for each day, and all the saints for that day profiled alphabetically. The idea is that you can read the entries for a given day, like clicking the Today links, but in a form you can carry with you if you don’t have Internet access. The layout is similar to the web site, but not as heavily cross-linked. The files are available here

On 15 March 2008 Pope Benedict XVI received Cardinal José Saraiva Martins, prefect of the Congregation of the Causes of the Saints, in a private audience during which the Holy Father authorized the Congregation to promulgate a decree that a miracle had occurred through the intercession of Venerable Francesco Pianzola.
